Dosage: One sachet treats a 19-23L batch. For larger batches, use 0.5-0.8g per Liter. We suggest rounding up to a full sachet rather than measuring exactly. [50-80g per 100L]

Pitch Directly or Rehydrate: NECTAR yeast can be easily sprinkled onto your wort's surface without any initial aeration, thanks to our unique aerobic growth process that produces highly viable and sterol-rich dry yeast. This specially formulated yeast is also packed with essential nutrients for a successful fermentation. While optional, some brewers may prefer to rehydrate the yeast. Just sanitize the yeast brick and scissors, mix 10 grams of sterilized tap water (29-35°C) with 0.25 grams of FermStart per gram of yeast, and sprinkle the yeast on top. Let the slurry sit undisturbed for 20 minutes, then swirl and use small amounts of wort to adjust the temperature to within 6°C of the wort before pitching. Ferment between 18-22°C for optimal results.
