Kegs to hold your beer, and the couplers that connect commercial kegs to gas and tap. A 19L ball lock (Corny) keg is the home brewing standard: it fits a standard kegerator, takes ball lock disconnects and comes with a ten year warranty. The 9.5L version is the same keg for smaller batches or tighter fridges. For commercial kegs, our A-type, D-type and S-type couplers are full stainless with duotight 8mm push-in connections.

Check with the brewery or bottle shop before ordering. Tall A-type kegs often need the low profile elbow, included with our A-type coupler, to fit under the kegerator ceiling.
Homebrew kegs vs commercial kegs
Homebrew ball lock kegs have two posts: grey for gas in, black for beer out, each connected with a ball lock disconnect. You fill them through the lid. Commercial kegs come filled from a brewery and have a single valve that a coupler locks onto. Most kegerators take either, and the kegerator buying guide lists how many of each fit.

How many 19L kegs fit in a kegerator?
Four in a Series X.1 or Kegmaster Premium XL, and up to eight in a Series X Plus.
Is a Corny keg the same as a ball lock keg?
Yes. Corny (Cornelius) kegs come in ball lock and pin lock versions. Ours are ball lock, the common type in Australia.
Do couplers connect to duotight line?
Yes. All three take 8mm duotight push-in connections, so they drop straight into a duotight gas and beer line setup.
