Cans & Canning

Empty aluminium cans and can ends for canning your own beer, cider, seltzer or soda at home. The cans and lids we sell are matched to the Cannular can seamer, so they seam correctly without swapping parts. Looking for the machine itself? See canning machines and parts.

Empty cans

We stock 330mL and 500mL aluminium beverage cans in silver and black, in cartons of 300 (330mL) or 207 (500mL), and most cartons include B64 lids. Full aperture cans have a lid that comes off completely, so the can becomes a cup and you get the full aroma of the drink. There's also a box of 100 steel tins with ring pull ends for preserving food on the SEMI-AUTO Cannular. Empty cans are delicate, so allow for up to 5% arriving with dents from transit, and sanitise before filling.

Can ends (lids)

Spare B64 can ends come in sleeves of 200 or cartons of 5000, as standard or full aperture ends in silver or black. They suit standard 202-style cans. Your seamer's chuck has to match the lid type, so check you're running a B64 chuck before ordering; CDL/CDLE ends need the Visy chuck.
