We have four warehouses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Launceston. Your order might ship from any of these warehouse, or from a combination of these warehouses as different stock is located in different warehouses. VISY Chuck for CDLE/CDL Ardagh Group Can Ends - Suits Cannular Canning Machine is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This chuck is sold as a separate part so a manual or semi-auto Cannular bench top canning machine can seam Visy CDLE ends. You don't need to change the seaming rolls over. Swap the chuck, make fine adjustments to the rolls and the table height, and you're seaming CDLE ends.
Why there are two kinds of can end
Aluminium can bodies are near enough all built to the same 202 standard, but two manufacturers dominate the lids that go on them. Ardagh Group, based in Europe, supplies the CDL family of ends. Ball, based in the United States, supplies the B64 and a few others. American cans mostly run B64 ends, European cans mostly run CDL ends, and a 202 body will take either.
CDLE is the end type Visy sells, licensed from Ardagh Group. People often shorten it to CDL, but CDLE is the technically correct name, and it is not the same thing as its predecessor, CDL+.
