This liqueur is a reddish-brown, 35% ABV herbal liqueur. Serve extremely cold.
Add essence and 950ml Alcohol @ 40% to Still Spirits Liqueur Base "A" (made up as per Liqueur Base "A" instructions). Top up to 1.125 L with water. Alternatively 150ml Sugar and 100ml Liquid Glucose. Top up to 1.125L with water. Gluten Free.
Cocktail Suggestion: Jäger Bomb
Very popular at the bar, you will often see groups of people drinking Jäger Bombs together. You will either love them or hate them, there is not much middle ground with this potent shot. This is not a shot for lightweights or the faint of heart and it is very easy to have one too many without knowing it.
Top Shelf Herbal Liqueur has a slight anise taste and the "depressant" effects of the alcohol are offset by the energy drink Red Bull that it is dropped into. Because of this (and despite common practice), take it easy on the Jager Bombs.
It has also become common to for the shot of Jager to be poured directly into the Red Bull, forgoing the 'bomb' altogether. However, if you opt for the drop, be careful that the shot glass doesn't hit your teeth hard as you could crack a tooth!
