Which Air Still starter pack should I buy?

Every pack includes the Air Still and the equipment to ferment, distil, filter and flavour. The difference is how many batches of yeast, carbon and essences come in the box. Each batch makes about 2L of 40% spirit.

Air Still FAQ

How long does a run take?
About two hours. Each run gives enough distillate for roughly a 1L bottle of spirit or liqueur.

What do I need for each batch after the starter pack runs out?
An Air Still Fermentation Kit plus 2.2kg of white sugar or dextrose makes about 2L of 40% neutral spirit. Add an essence to turn it into rum, gin, whisky, vodka or a liqueur.

Does the Air Still need water or a sink?
No. It is fan cooled, so it runs on a benchtop with just a power point.

Can I make gin in an Air Still?
Yes. Use a gin essence, or add real botanicals with the Infusion Basket or Companion Pack. The Gin Mini Distillery Kit is built around the Air Still Pro for gin makers.

Can I make rum or whisky with real flavour from the wash?
The Air Still is built for clean spirit that you flavour with essences. For flavour from the wash, look at a copper pot still, or the Air Still Pro in pot mode.
