Cocktails! Make a Whisky Sour with Still Spirits Classic Finest Reserve Scotch Whiskey
Your grandaddy's grandad was probably one of the first people to drink a whisky sour. I was invented sometime in the 1860's in Wisconsin, USA. It is believe a young man by the name of Elliott Stubb created it, based on a citation in a Peruvian newspaper in 1962.
- 1 1/2 shots of Still Spirits Classic Finest Reserve Scotch Whiskey
- 2 shots of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp of sugar or 3/4 shot ofΒ simple syrup
- Maraschino cherryΒ or lemon wedge for garnish
Fill aΒ cocktail shakerΒ with ice.Still Spirits Classic Finest Reserve Scotch Whiskey, lemon juice and sugar andΒ shake vigorously.Β Strain into aΒ double rocks glassΒ over fresh ice.Β Garnish with a Maraschino cherry or lemon wedge. Serve.
