Cocktails! Make a Whisky Sour with Still Spirits Classic Finest Reserve Scotch Whiskey
Your grandaddy's grandad was probably one of the first people to drink a whisky sour. I was invented sometime in the 1860's in Wisconsin, USA. It is believe a young man by the name of Elliott Stubb created it, based on a citation in a Peruvian newspaper in 1962.
- 1 1/2 shots of Still Spirits Classic Finest Reserve Scotch Whiskey
- 2 shots of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp of sugar or 3/4 shot of simple syrup
- Maraschino cherry or lemon wedge for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.Still Spirits Classic Finest Reserve Scotch Whiskey, lemon juice and sugar and shake vigorously. Strain into a double rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry or lemon wedge. Serve.
