Everything you need to make your own gin, in one order. This kit pairs the VORTEX Air Cooled Reflux Still Distillery Kit with a Create+ Sight Glass Botanical Basket, a three-batch gin yeast pack, London Dry gin botanicals, and the cleaner and sanitiser for brew day.
The reflux still makes the clean, neutral spirit that good gin starts with. The botanical basket clamps into the VORTEX setup with the same 2" tri-clamp fittings, so the spirit vapour passes through the botanicals on the gin run. The VORTEX condensers cool with fans instead of water, so there's no hose and no tap to tie up.

How much gin it makes
The yeast pack makes three 25L sugar washes at about 14.4% ABV, which yield around 27L of 40% gin in total. Each wash needs 6kg of white sugar or 6.6kg of dextrose, which isn't included. There's a botanical kit for each batch.
How it works
- Ferment: dissolve the sugar in warm water, add the nutrient and gin yeast, then clear the wash with Turbo Clear.
- Distil: run the wash through the VORTEX reflux still to make clean, neutral spirit.
- Make it gin: fill the botanical basket with the London Dry botanicals, fit it between the boiler lid and the condenser with the mesh filters in place, then distil your diluted spirit again so the vapour picks up the botanicals.
