BOURBON DISTILLERY KIT with Grainfather G30v3, VORTEX Air Cooled Alembic Condenser & Bourbon Grain Kit is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Everything you need to make bourbon-style whiskey from corn. The Grainfather G30v3 mashes the grain the way a brewery does, then becomes your boiler: swap its lid for the T500 Boiler Lid & Threaded Adapter and the VORTEX Alembic Equipment Kit clamps straight on top. A bourbon grain kit, the fermenting gear and the cleaner and sanitiser are included for your first batch.
Run as an alembic pot still, the VORTEX keeps the sweet corn character of the wash instead of stripping it out. The condenser cools with fans instead of water, so there's no hose and no tap to tie up.

How much it makes
The grain kit makes one 23L wash at about 9.4% ABV from a 51% corn grain bill. Add a grain kit for each extra batch.
How it works
- Mash: mash the maize, rye and malt in the Grainfather, then chill the wort into the fermenter with the counterflow chiller.
- Ferment: add the whiskey yeast and enzymes, then clear the wash with Turbo Clear.
- Distil: return the wash to the clean Grainfather, fit the T500 lid and VORTEX condenser, and distil.
- Age: rest the spirit on the American charred oak spirals until it has the colour and oak flavour you like.
