Pellet Hops - Perle
Perle, originally created in Germany during the 1960s or early-mid 1970s, combines the flavors of Northern Brewer and a German male. This versatile hop was introduced to the public in 1978 and has been sought after by European breweries as a perfect substitute for Hallertau Mittelfrüher. However, some in the US and Japan argue that Perle stands out on its own with its delightful aroma, with notes of mint, pine, and a touch of spice.
