Pellet Hops - Columbus (US) - CTZ (Columbus, Tomahawk & Zeus)
Columbus, Tomahawk, and Zeus - known collectively as CTZ - are three trademarked trade names for a highly sought-after variety of hop. Craft brewers across America are drawn to its strong bittering properties, using it in popular brews like American pale ales, "double IPAs," imperial stouts, and barley wines. For an extra kick, CTZ is often combined with other American hops such as Cascade and Chinook. Hailing from the American West Coast, this hop is perfect for creating "extreme" beers with high levels of bitterness, all without clogging up the brewing process.
