Still Spirits American Oak Carboy Spiral Medium Toast is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
A medium-toast American oak spiral sized to drop through the neck of a carboy or demijohn. The spiral cut exposes far more end grain than a stave of the same weight, so extraction is quick and even, and the fixed shape makes it trivial to pull back out when you are done.
Medium toast is the middle ground: more vanilla and caramel than a light toast, without the coffee and char that heavy toast brings. Suits whisky, rum, brandy and oaked wine alike.
- American oak spiral, medium toast
- Sized to pass through a standard carboy neck
- Fast, even extraction from high end-grain exposure
- Vanilla and caramel character without heavy char
