This Alembic Pot Set is made up of the Turbo 500 25L Boiler with the Alembic Dome Top and Alembic Condenser.

Instead of stripping flavours to give clean spirit like the T500, this pot still retains and enhances flavours. This can be used when distilling washes that contain flavours that you wish to collect.

The Pot Still Alembic Condenser is best used with the T500 Boiler and the Alembic Dome Top. This condenser is what differentiates this still from the T500. It is what retains the flavour rather than stripping it out by refluxing. This comes with a thermometer, tubing and tap adaptor set.

The Pot Still Alembic Dome Top is copper and fits on to your T500 Boiler. This can be used in place of the T500 Boiler's stainless steel lid. The large copper surface area of this dome top acts as a catalyst with the vapour in the still and helps enhance and concentrate the flavours and aromas as well as remove unwanted sulphur compounds. This produces a smoother, richer, sweeter tasting spirit.

OPTIONAL: Botanicals Basket  is suspended above the liquid so that the botanicals are steamed rather than boiled. Screw the basket onto the the Alembic Pot Still dome and condenser.

Oh so sexy

"Yet to use it as I don't have enough botanicals to put through it yet. Very well made and worth the long wait."

— Darelle T. (5/5)

Works great

"Very good beginner system, though I wish the boiler had some temperature control. I’m going to have to upgrade that in the future, as it just goes 100% at all times. That said the boiler is multipurpose in that it’s great for boiling the mash before fermentation and then used for distillation."

Q&A

Hello. I’m looking for my best option for predominately water distilling. I have a hydrogen gas machine and need pure water with. 0.00 micron reading. I’m also keen to have a go at distilling other things. I am not sure which device is my best bet. It will be used daily if it’s a 4 litre every 4-5 hours job. The more it makes efficiently the better. Many thanks, Julia.
Hi Julia, our stills could not meet this requirement. You are needing a 5 stage RO filter or a commercial quality milliQ or DI unit.
hi with the Still Spirits Alchemist Series: Alembic Pot Condenser, Dome Top and Boiler I read that you use a mash for the distilling is this the only way or is it suitable for putting wine that is no longer suitable for drinking through Martin
Hi Martin, this unit will retain the flavours of whatever is distilled, so if you put old wine in it, it will come out with the flavours of that wine. If you would prefer to make a neutral spirit, we recommend distilling it with the Turbo 500: https://distilleryking.com.au/collections/turbo-500/products/new-still-spirits-turbo-500-copper-condenser-condensor
