Solstice Duo Kegerator - 353L, 2 x 50L Kegs, Under Bench

The Solstice Duo is a 353L stainless steel kegerator from Keg King with room for two 50L commercial kegs. It is designed for under bench installation, runs from a standard Australian 10 amp outlet and has a five-star energy rating, so it suits a home bar, an alfresco area, an office or a small venue.

Capacity is what sets it apart from a single-keg fridge. The cabinet takes two 50L commercial kegs, six 20L PET kegs or nine 19L ball lock kegs, which leaves room to keep several different drinks on tap side by side.

It vents from the front, so it can go under a bench where there is little clearance around it. Heat is pushed out the front rather than trapped under the counter, and only the taps need to sit on the benchtop.

Cooling comes from a removable cassette, as on earlier Solstice models. The Duo adds dual fans and double the evaporator area for faster, more efficient cooling, and the cassette design means servicing is a swap rather than a cabinet repair.

It heats as well as cools. With the internal heating function it can hold a fermentation temperature, or work as a wine fridge or small goods fridge when it is not pouring beer. The control panel is simple to set up and defrost is automatic.

A built-in storage drawer holds glassware, spare couplers or other draught gear. An internal power port runs the Keg King Universal Font Cooling Kit, which liquid-cools floodable fonts so they stay chilled between pours.

Options

• Beer tower: buy the fridge on its own, or add a 2, 3 or 4 tap Ultra T T-bar font in 304 stainless steel. The taps sit in a straight line across the bar, and each font comes preassembled with UltraTap faucets, shanks, beer lines, gas lines and ball lock disconnects
• Telescopic font adaptor: for mounting the font on a benchtop above the fridge in an under bench install
• Warranty: a free 3 year warranty, or extend it to 4 or 5 years
