BEST Red X® is the perfect base malt for creating a variety of red-tinted beers including amber-colored beers, Alt, Red Ales, and dark beer with a fiery red tinge. This exceptional malt, renowned for its vibrant color, can make up 100% of the grain bill, eliminating the need for any additional malt. Its reliable process and optimal processability allow for consistently fiery beers with intense reddish hues. Ideal for a 12°P beer, BEST Red X® maintains its fiery red color in stronger brews when paired with some BEST Pilsen Malt to balance the higher wort gravity. Plus, it complies with the purity requirements of the German Reinheitsgebot.
