We ship from our warehouses in Brisbane and Melbourne. Your order might ship from either warehouse, or from both, as different stock is held in different warehouses. The Pure Distilling Alembic Copper Dome is made from 99.7% copper and replaces the standard lid on your boiler. It increases copper contact during distillation, which binds and removes unwanted sulphur compounds, and its traditional alembic shape encourages gentle reflux so vapours are refined before they reach the condenser.
The dome is designed for use with the Pure Distilling Pot Condenser (sold separately) and suits flavour-forward spirits such as whisky, rum, brandy and gin. It also pairs well with a Proofing Parrot for monitoring ABV during your run.
