The Kegerator Builder for Homebrewers puts together a complete keg fridge setup from three choices: the kegerator base, the tap and font kit, and the CO2 cylinder. The bases hold three or four 19L ball lock kegs, and the build comes with the hosing and fittings to connect it. It is a simple, proven homebrew layout that leaves room for upgrades later.

Options
- Kegerator Model: Series 4 is the budget base and takes three 19L kegs. Series X is the most popular base and takes four. The Built In Model also takes four and suits custom kitchen builds.
- Tap and Font Kit: choose no font, or one to four taps in Totem, Super Slim, Modular 76 T-Bar or T-Bar styles. The Totem also comes in Punisher Edition and Stealth Bomber Black finishes, and the Super Slim kits come with pre-assembled hosing.
- Gas Cylinder: none if you already have CO2, or a full 2.6kg or 6kg cylinder.
Each build is a set package, so parts can't be swapped or substituted. If you want a different combination, buy the parts separately.
FAQ
How many kegs fit?
Three 19L ball lock kegs in the Series 4, and four in the Series X or the Built In Model.
What else do I need?
Kegs and something to put in them, plus CO2 if you chose no cylinder. Tell us what you already run and we will confirm what suits.
Can I upgrade it later?
Yes. It is a straightforward base to build on, for example by adding inline regulators to set the gas pressure for each keg separately.
Is the noise from the fridge normal?
These kegerators run on R600a refrigerant, which is efficient but can make some unusual sounds while the compressor cycles. That is normal operation.
