The bottom grain plate for the Grainfather G70 all-grain brewing system. It sits at the base of the perforated grain basket and keeps the grain bed off the floor of the basket, allowing wort to draw evenly through the mash rather than channelling down one side.
A worn or distorted bottom plate is one of the most common causes of poor mash efficiency and stuck sparges on the G70. This is the genuine factory part in 304 stainless steel.
