The Gen3 FermZilla Tri-Conical is a 55L conical fermenter you can ferment in under pressure, up to 2.4 bar. The cone ends in a 3 inch tri-clover ferrule with a 600mL collection container clamped beneath it, which takes the place of the dump valve arrangement earlier conicals used. Release the pressure, undo the clamp by hand, and the yeast leaves with the container.
The body is transparent, so you can watch the krausen build and see how much trub you are actually dropping instead of guessing at it. The tri-clover clamps come apart without tools, which makes stripping the vessel down for cleaning a short job rather than an afternoon.

Before every fill
Pressure test the vessel with water first. Fill it, apply at least 15psi and tip it in every direction, watching the cap and the threads for leaks. Do this each time you fill the fermenter, not just once when it is new.
