With CellarScience Beer Yeast ENGLISH Ale Yeast, you can easily pitch directly into your wort. Each sachet contains 12g of yeast, a generous amount that is up to 9% more than other dry yeast brands. Rest assured, every batch of yeast is PCR tested to ensure top-notch quality. While previously only available to pro breweries, ENGLISH is now conveniently packaged in sachets for homebrewers. Dosage: One sachet can effectively treat a 19-23L batch. For larger batches, use 0.5-0.8g of yeast per liter. We suggest rounding up to the nearest sachet instead of measuring precisely. [50-80g per 100L]

ENGLISH yeast for CellarScience Beer Yeast Ale is designed to be directly pitched onto your wort, requiring no oxygenation during initial fermentation. Our aerobic growth process ensures high viability and sterol levels in the dry yeast. It comes pre-loaded with essential nutrients for a successful and complete fermentation. While rehydrating is optional, some brewers prefer it. To rehydrate, sanitize the yeast brick and scissors, then mix 29-35°C sterilized tap water (10 grams) with 0.25 grams of FermStart Yeast Nutrient per gram of yeast. Sprinkle yeast and let stand for 20 minutes before swirling. Use small amounts of wort to adjust to the temperature of the wort before pitching between 16-21°C.
