Recommended usage: One sachet is sufficient for a single 19-23L batch. For larger batches, use 0.66-1.06g per liter of wort and round up to the nearest full sachet. This equates to 70-100g per 100L. Trust us, it's worth it.

Choose how to use our CellarScience Beer Yeast BAJA Mexican Lager: Directly pitch it onto your wort with no need for oxygenation during the initial fermentation. With our high viability and sterol levels, your dry yeast will be ready to provide a successful and complete fermentation. If you prefer, you can rehydrate the yeast by sanitizing your equipment and using a mixture of sterilized tap water and yeast nutrient (0.25 grams per gram of yeast). After standing for 20 minutes, swirl the mixture and adjust the temperature to within 6°C of your wort before pitching. Ideal fermentation temperature ranges from 10-13°C.
