Asprinn Reverse Osmosis Membrane - NSF & WaterMark Approved - 75 GPD - for our 3 Stage Brewing RO System is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The membrane is the component that determines how good your RO system actually is. Everything upstream of it is just protection. These Asprinn membranes are NSF and WaterMark approved and are the same units fitted to complete systems from the factory.
Choosing a flow rate
The 75 GPD membrane suits our 3 Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System for Brewing. The 50 GPD suits most standard domestic RO systems, producing roughly 190 litres per day.
Check which membrane your system takes before ordering — they aren't interchangeable across every housing.
Performance
- Rejection rates above 98% across a wide range of inorganic and organic contaminants, including aluminium, arsenic and common agricultural chemicals
- Waste ratio around 50/50 with a 200cc flow restrictor on reasonable quality water at 70 PSI
- Operating pressure range 50–100 PSI
Getting the most out of it
Membrane life comes down almost entirely to what reaches it. Replace your pre-filters on schedule — chlorine is the main enemy and it damages the membrane permanently rather than just clogging it. Low incoming pressure also hurts output, so if you're below 50 PSI you'll want a booster pump.
