The Oxebar 4L is a multilayer PET keg with ball lock fittings, sized for a batch you want to take somewhere rather than leave in the garage.

The draught pack is the keg with its standard black cap, plus the Hydra tapping kit with a ball lock post and pressure relief valve ports.

The multilayer wall is the point of it. It transmits about three times less gas than standard PET grades, which is why these are rated at up to 12 months of storage where an ordinary PET container is good for three or four. That gap matters most for oxygen sensitive drinks, where the flavour goes long before anything else does.

At 155mm across and 325mm tall it fits inside most eskies, and it will dispense lying on its side. Keep it under 4 bar (58 psi) and 45°C.

Hydrotest it every two years, to 6 bar, at room temperature between 15 and 30°C. Swap the red PRV for a grey one borrowed off a 19L keg, fill the keg to the brim with water, bring it up to 6 bar with a bike pump, CO2 regulator or compressor, hold it there for a minute, then release the pressure and put the red PRV straight back.

If you want a bigger vessel, the 19L corny kegs are the standard home format.
