The Kegmaster Solstice is a 236L stainless steel kegerator that runs on 12V DC as well as mains power, so it will pour off a battery or a solar bank just as happily as it will from a wall socket. It was designed in Australia.

The included 240V power pack plugs into any standard Australian 10A outlet. The 12V DC design also takes batteries, solar, or any mix of the two that can supply 12 volts at up to 15 amps, which puts it in caravans, on boats, in mobile bars, at festivals and in food service vehicles as easily as in a kitchen.

Heating and cooling both come from a removable cassette rather than coolant lines run through the walls and benchtop. Six screws hold the cassette to the body, so it can be pulled out and replaced without touching the cabinet. The HJ-510 controller sets the temperature, switches between heating and cooling and handles the defrost cycle, so the same box that chills kegs down to serving temperature can hold a ferment warm or cure small goods.

Inside there is room for six 19L Cornelius ball lock kegs, or four 20L PET King Kegs plus one Cornelius keg, or a 50L commercial keg with its gas cylinder alongside. Push-in through-wall gas fittings keep the gas ports sealed against outside temperatures, and the door reverses so it opens the way your space wants it to. An internal cold air hose is included for beer tower cooling.

It is rated to 40°C ambient, which is what makes it usable outdoors through an Australian summer. Under a bench it needs 100mm of ventilation clearance on the cassette side only, not all the way around.

This listing is the four tap configuration, supplied with the UltraT FasTap beer tower.
