This unit has a remarkable 150-watt cooling power, allowing you to chill approximately 8L of beer per hour (based on a 20-degree ambient temperature). For optimal performance, we suggest allowing 2 minutes for recovery after every 500ml dispensed. The Benchy Carbon utilizes just 60 watts when its compressor is running, and a mere 1.6watts in idle mode with the compressor off. Even when cycling on and off to maintain temperature, the highly efficient Benchy Carbon only averages 15 watts. By cooling only the beer or beverage being consumed, the Benchy Carbon is incredibly energy efficient and reduces heat ingress. Its use of environmentally friendly r600a refrigerant also decreases compression ratios and overall pressure, resulting in a lighter system that saves power.
