In small amounts, it shines with a spicy and floral note reminiscent of star anise. But when used in larger quantities or in dry hopping, it holds its ground against robust malts and imparts a pronounced tropical and grapefruit taste. Its lineage contributes to a delightful floral aroma, accompanied by subtle hints of spice. While perfect for lagers and pilsners, Ella also enhances the flavor of Pale Ales and IPAs when used in dry-hopping, preserving its fruity and tropical oils like those found in Galaxy™ hops.
