For fans of peated whiskeys and beers with a Scottish twist, our Peated Malt from is a must-try. Derived from our classic Gladfield Distillers malt and smoked in-house using 100% New Zealand Peat, this malt offers a phenol concentration of 40+ppm, infusing it with a traditional, mild and earthy flavor. While ideal for single malt whiskey, this malt can also add depth and character to Scotch ales and darker, maltier beers. Please note, single malt does not refer to using only one literal malt in whisky production, but rather that it is made by one maker and not blended from others.
