Create+ Sight Glass Botanical Basket Set for T500 and Alembic Condensers

This high-quality sight glass botanical basket set is designed for use with 2” tri-clamp compatible distilling systems including the Create+ equipment and accessories range and the Grainfather G40/G70 distilling accessories. This set can be used as a sight glass to monitor your distillation run or the mesh filters can be attached per the instructions to convert the sight glass into a botanical basket. The sight glass will hold up to 150 g (5.2 oz) of botanicals and is suitable for fine botanicals.

For use as a botanical basket:

1. Attach the sight glass to the lid of your distilling system using one of the mesh filters and the 2” tri-clamp.
2. Fill the sight glass with your desired amount of botanicals - up to a maximum of 150 g (5.2 oz).
3. Put the second mesh filter on the top of the sight glass.
4. Using a 2” tri-clamp connect the top of the sight glass to your condensing set up.

For use as a sight glass: Attach the sight glass to your distilling system (mesh filters are not required).

Cleaning: Clean with warm water and a suitable brewery cleaner. Using a pipe brush, clean away all residual oils on the glass. Disassembly should only be required if heavy soiling around the silicone components exists. Sanitation is not needed in this application.

Note: For use as a column extension with packing material coarse mesh is required to prevent flooding.

CAUTION: After distillation is complete, the sight glass will be very hot. Allow to cool before handling

The Sight Glass Botanical Basket Set is designed to accommodate those using 2" tri-clamp setups. In order to use this with your T500 or Alembic Dome & Condenser, you will need to first convert your existing equipment to a tri-clamp connection using the Create+ Threaded Adapter Set.
