Experience the convenience of direct pitching with CellarScience's SAISON Ale Yeast. Each sachet contains 12g of yeast, a generous amount that surpasses other dry yeast brands by up to 9%. Trust our PCR testing to guarantee the utmost quality in every batch.

Recommended dosage: One sachet treats a 19-23L batch. For larger batches, use 0.5-0.8g per Liter. We suggest rounding up to the nearest sachet size (50-80g per 100L) for maximum effectiveness.

Direct Pitch or Rehydrate: SAISON yeast is specially formulated to be easily added to your wort without the need for oxygenation during initial fermentation. The carefully controlled aerobic growth process ensures a dry yeast with high viability and sterol levels, making it ideal for direct pitching. However, for those who prefer to rehydrate yeast, we recommend using sterilized tap water between 29-35Β°C mixed with FermStart (Yeast Nutrient) and waiting 20 minutes before pitching. Adjust to within 10Β°F (6Β°C) of wort temperature before pitching and let the yeast work its magic! Ferment between 17-24Β°C for a successful and complete fermentation.
