Eclipse Wheat Malt, also known as Midnight Wheat, is a versatile black malt that adds a rich, smooth flavor and deep, dark color to your beer. Unlike other dark malts, it is huskless and won't add bitterness, making it perfect for a variety of styles from IPAs and Stouts to Lagers and Saisons. Its unique flavor profile can even be used in place of Roasted Barley for a milder coffee note without the astringency. Trust in Eclipse Wheat Malt to bring a touch of darkness and complexity to your brews.
Suggested Usage Rate:
1-2% for little to no flavour contribution and minor colour adjustment
2-6% to add more colour with a very smooth roaster coffee and chocolate notes
7-10% for more definitive colour adjustment with a velvety-smooth subtle roast character
